Cordless Alliance System (CAS) batteries employ Intelligent Battery Management, electrical and thermal, which ensures that all the cells are taken care of against aggressive usage and fast charging and discharging cycling.

Lithium-ion rechargeable cells perform exceptionally well because of their high energy density. However, since Lithium-ion cells have different current limits for charging and discharging, both modes can accommodate higher peak currents, but only for short durations.

Intelligent Battery Management employs several advanced technologies to optimize battery performance and longevity:

  • Processor-Controlled Charge and Discharge Management

This system precisely manages the charging and discharging processes for optimal energy flow, peak performance, and longevity.

  • Permanent Electronic Single Cell Protection (ESCP)

As Lithium-Ion cells cannot absorb any additional current once fully charged, any excess energy is converted into heat, potentially causing a rapid voltage. This can lead to permanent damage or unsafe operating conditions.

Permanent Electronic Single Cell Protection monitors each cell during charging, safeguarding every cell. It ensures that each cell in the pack charges and discharges evenly, preventing both overcharging and deep discharging. As a result, the permanent Electronic Single Cell Protection system protects and enhances battery lifespan.

  • Patented “AIR COOLED” Charging Technology

The patented “AIR COOLED” function is based on air-cooling the battery pack during the charging process. The battery packs are gently cooled down to the required charging temperature, and the optimum temperature is maintained during the charging cycle.

It allows for up to 30% shorter total charging time and prolongs battery lifespan.

  • ~ 74 min (10.0 Ah)

  • Real-Time Diagnostics & Data Monitoring

It controls battery parameters, detects any abnormalities, and informs about:

  • too low and too high voltage
  • too low and too high temperature
  • failure of the temperature sensor
  • internal battery failure

  • Capacity Display with Minimal Self-Discharge

A built-in capacity indicator allows users to monitor the battery’s charge status. Additionally, the special design ensures minimal self-discharge during storage, ensuring readiness for use.
